Abby De La Rosa has described Nick Cannon as her "primary partner," in an interview released on the same day he welcomed the birth of his daughter with model Lanisha Cole.
Cannon, 41, announced that he had become a father of nine on Wednesday, when former The Price Is Right model Cole, 40, gave birth to a girl named Onyx Ice Cole. The TV personality welcomed son Legendary Love in July with model Bre Tiesi and is currently expecting children with Brittany Bell and De La Rosa.
Former radio personality De La Rosa, 31, who welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Cannon in June 2021, discussed her relationship with the Wild N' Out host during an appearance on the Lovers and Friends podcast.

Speaking with host Shan Boodram, De La Rosa said that she considered herself to be in an "open relationship" with Cannon, who she said is currently her "primary partner," per People.
De La Rosa touched on the judgment she faces for the nature of her relationship with Cannon from people who she said also question her parenting.
"Being in a polyamorous relationship doesn't mean you have low self-esteem or self-worth," she said.
"I become hypersensitive when people attack me and my motherhood," she went on. "When it comes to being a mom, I don't think I've even scratched the surface."
"Me being open in my relationship does not change or take away from the type of mother that I am to my kids and the wholeness that I am to them and the strength that I share with them," she said.
"I'm excited for my kids to grow up and be like, 'Mom and dad, y'all did it your way and I love that,'" she continued. "I hope my kids can eventually do it their way, whatever that may be in whatever capacity that is. To do it their way, not the way that the world wants them to do ... to do it their way the way mom and dad did."
De La Rosa, whose third baby is expected to arrive this fall, said that she has chosen to be monogamous during her pregnancy.
"I think I see monogamy for myself down the line, and this won't get me there," she said. "But I love where I'm at, at this very moment. It's just not my forever."
Cannon announced the arrival of his daughter with Cole on Instagram, stating as part of a length caption that his detractors should direct their comments at him, rather than the women with whom he has had—and is having—children.
"As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength," he wrote. "So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children."
In addition to his daughter with Cole and twins with pregnant De La Rosa, Cannon is the father of 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. He shares son Golden Sagon, 5, and daughter Powerful Queen, 19 months, with Bell, with whom he is expecting a third child.
The TV personality and musician also had a son with model Alyssa Scott in June 2021. Their baby, Zen Cannon, died of brain cancer in December 2021.
