Alicia Keys has spoken up about an incident where a fan grabbed her face and kissed her at one of her concerts.
Keys, 41, was performing her hit song "Empire State of Mind" at an August 29 arena show in Vancouver as she walked along the crowd barriers.
Flanked by security, Keys wore a green jumpsuit and greeted fans as she walked past them.

One fan took things to the extreme when she leaned over the barrier to grab Keys' face and plant a kiss on her cheek.
It seemed the woman also tried to say something to Keys because she pulled down the singer's head to talk into her ear.
Keys looked very shocked but managed to wrestle herself away without missing a single note of the song.
Pop-culture account Hollywood Unlocked shared the video on Instagram and criticized the fan for her behavior.
The account wrote: "We love this song too, but damn, lady! 😂😭 #Socialites, was this fan doing too much by kissing #AliciaKeys on the cheek?! 👀👇🏽👇🏽 📸 Twitter: DiaryOfKeysus."
Then Keys herself took to the comments to agree the incident made her uncomfortable and left her very perplexed.
Keys wrote: "Trust me, I was like what the F**K!!!!!!!! Don't she know what time it is???🕰🕰🕰🕰🤯🤯🤯🤯."
Fans on Instagram responded to Keys' comment and agreed with the singer that the person's actions were out of line.
"I hope you are well and that you have the health of your family and your team! I'm so angry at this disrespectful! believe me never it will go through my head when I saw that I said to myself too but WTF it's unthinkable!" wrote one fan.
"I hope you're not afraid 🙌 we love you but above all we respect you 🙌she deserves a slap she could have put you in danger ,everyone and cut the tour so selfish."
Another Instagram user added: "I was there...I'm so sorry that happened to you on behalf all other Vancouverites, Ms. Keys! 🙏 Totally uncalled for."
A third wrote: "Respect people space... WTH!!! Who does this ?!?"
Maroon 5 singer, Adam Levine, was grabbed by a fan on stage during a We Can Survive charity concert at the Hollywood Bowl in October 2021. He said in an Instagram video: "I just need you guys to know I was really startled."
In 2017, at the same venue in Los Angeles for the same charity, British pop star Harry Styles was groped by an audience member.
Keys is on the North American leg of her world tour and plays San Francisco on Saturday at the Chase Center.
Then the singer heads down to the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, on Monday, before playing an outdoor concert at Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
