Fans were treated to a variety of performances from Golden Buzzer winners Maddie Baez and Chapel Hart to jaw-dropping magic acts from Yu Hojin. But which acts made it to the final and who was sent home from the competition?

Newsweek has everything you need to know.

Who Made the AGT Final in Week 2?

Of the 11 acts that competed in America's Got Talent Week 2, only two secured a spot in the live final, bringing them one step closer to the $1 million prize and Las Vegas headline show.

The Top Five acts of the second seminal final were whittled down to breathtaking aerialists Duo Rings, 12-year-old singer Maddie Baez, the musical band The Brown Brothers, magician Yu Hojin and country singing trio, Chapel Hart.

The group of five was then narrowed down to three, leaving Chapel Hart, Yu, and Baez all with a shot of securing a spot in the final.

Ultimately, the two acts that made it through to the live shows were the golden buzzer act Chapel Hart and Yu.

Speaking after Chapel Hart's victory, judge Heidi Klum said: "Well deserved girls. You sang your way into America's heart and my heart."

However, it was a close call for Yu who found themselves in the bottom two against the golden buzzer act, Maddie Taylor Baez, after both acts received the second highest numbers of votes from the public.

Reflecting after it was revealed Chapel Hart had beat them to the spot in the final, Cowell said: "In this moment, I am feeling really happy, and I'm feeling really unhappy. I'm not gonna lie.
