Apple TV+ is pulling out the big guns to try and get ahead in the streaming wars with some huge star power at its disposal.

During Tuesday's Apple event, it showcased several new tech products, as well as some exciting new projects coming exclusively to the Apple TV+ platform.

The likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, Henry Cavill, Dakota Johnson, Dua Lipa, Ryan Reynolds and so many more famous faces have new original projects launching with Apple.

Here's are some first-look images of movies coming to Apple TV+, and what we know about them so far.

Argylle

This star-studded spy movie is based on a novel which hasn't even been released yet. Henry Cavill stars while Matthew Vaughn directs this film about a amnesia-suffering best-selling spy novelist who comes to realize he may have an unknown history as a world-class spy.

Dua Lipa makes her big screen acting debut in Argylle while the rest of the cast features Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, John Cena, Catherine O'Hara, Samuel L. Jackson and Ariana DeBose.

Argylle is currently slated for a 2023 release.

Cha Cha Real Smooth

A winner at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, Dakota Johnson stars in the drama Cha Cha Real Smooth.

Cooper Raiff writes, directs and stars in the movie as a recent college graduate who is stuck back home with his family, and makes his money as a party planner.

Cha Cha Real Smooth launches on Apple TV+ globally on June 17, 2022.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever

Zac Efron, Russell Crowe and Bill Murray also join Apple for the unique comedy war drama The Greatest Beer Run Ever.

Directed by Oscar-winner Peter Farrelly, this movie is based on a novel of the same name which is set during the Vietnam War.

The true story follows a man who decides to sneak into Vietnam to track down one of his buddies in combat in order to share a few beers with him.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever is scheduled for a Fall 2022 release on Apple TV+.

Killers of the Flower Moon

The Apple Original Films slate includes Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio's next movie, Killers of the Flower Moon. The movie has been in development for half a decade and was purchased by Apple TV+ and Paramount Pictures.

Killers of the Flower Moon is based on the non-fiction book of the same name which retells the story of the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation in Oklahoma.

DiCaprio stars in a lead role while the rest of the cast features Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, Sturgill Simpson, Brendan Fraser and John Lithgow.

The movie is described as "coming soon" by Apple with no firm release date announced.

Luck

Luck is an animated feature about "the unluckiest girl in the world" coming to the streaming service.

It will feature the voice talents of Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O'Donoghue and John Ratzenberger.

It's created by Skydance Animation, and due to drop on Apple TV+ on August 5, 2022.

Raymond & Ray

Half brothers Raymond & Ray are portrayed by Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke in a "gravedigging" movie.

The story follows the siblings who've lived in their terrible father's shadow their whole lives, but his funeral finally gives them both a chance to reinvent themselves.

Raymond & Ray is currently scheduled for a Fall 2022 release.

Spirited

Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell team up for a musical movie which retells Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale, A Christmas Carol. Reynolds and Ferrell went viral during their time working on set for their Grace Kelly TikTok trend.

As expected, this festive movie will arrive during the holiday season of 2022 on Apple TV+.
