Ariana Grande, musical wonder and whimsical Twitter spirit, seems to have reconciled with one of the stars of Mamma Mia, Piers Morgan. In late November 2018, Morgan tweeted that a member of Little Mix, Jesy Nelson, should "put some clothes on" and that she looked "ridiculous." Grande's mother, Joan Grande, shared her thoughts on Twitter about the situation, asking "what is wrong with you Piers Morgan?"
Honestly what is wrong with you @piersmorgan ? Didn’t your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it! You came for @TheEllenShow yesterday which was disgraceful, she is an angel. @LittleMix today, did you ever hear of paying homage? And..well never mind https://t.co/5WBOlL8t6O

Morgan swiped back, causing Ariana to step into the Twitter feud. "I look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do," Grande tweeted. "I think that'll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what's left of it." Things have been quiet for a few months, but it seems like both parties may have squashed their beef.
On Wednesday morning, Morgan tweeted "thank u (sic) for a great night" at Grande, who thanked him for the "laugh," "productive conversation" and said that "some progress was made." Turns out the pair had stumbled onto each other in an LA restaurant and Grande decided to sit down to have a chat. "We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed & we bonded," Morgan wrote on Twitter. "Turns out we really like each other."
So... we bumped into each other in a LA restaurant, she joined me for ‘a chat’ & 2 hours later we were still chatting. We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed & we bonded. Turns out we really like each other. Weird. Thank u @ArianaGrande - next? pic.twitter.com/pNJ7pDi0at

Fan reaction to the pair reconciling has been mixed. Comments range from "top 10 anime crossovers" to "ew ariana why" with a huge amount of conversation in the middle. When two opposing sides of the ideological spectrum clash, there's bound to be some "stans" (or super fans) that feel betrayed. Morgan is quite vocal about his opinions on Twitter, going after random users who dare speak ill about him. On an average day, he tweets dozens of times calling people things like "pathetic, gutless bullies" and rallying about the "PC-crazed times we are in."
If two sides of the aisle can meet up in the real world without creating any more conflict, who knows what could happen next. Thank you.
