The Bachelorette season 18 seemed to have some serious romantic prospects for Michelle Young, but a lot of those men let her down on Episode 4 of the ABC show.
This week, the group date saw Michelle and 12 men have what is likely the first adult slumber party to take place in a hotel conference center. However, the men seemed to be far more interested in building bears and eating candy than spending time talking to the woman they went through an entire process of applications, interviews, psychological evaluations and quarantine to be around.
Many men came out of the episode badly. Martin wasted a little too much of his one-on-one date defending Jamie after Michelle sent him home last week. Nayte's apology for not giving Michelle any attention during the group date was insufficient. Chris S. took Michelle's discussion about how she felt after the group date and somehow made it all about himself.
However, we are still at that point of The Bachelorette Season 18 where Michelle is getting rid of men with whom she has no spark (and/or who are not making good enough television), so all of those men got a rose. Three other men were shown the door this week, including a literal Romeo.
Who left The Bachelorette this week?
In week four, Michelle sent the following men home:
- Chris Gallant, 28, a motivational speaker from Halifax, Nova Scotia
- Romeo Alexander, 32, a mathematician from New York City, New York
- Will Urena, 28, an academic interventionist from Grand Rapids, Michigan

All three had been at the slumber party, and wasted any opportunity they had to find a moment with Michelle.
If you are having trouble remembering who those three men were (none has really got that much screentime), here are some of their key moments:
Chris G: The one who absolutely lost his mind last week when he discovered that spoken-word poet Rudy Francisco was at the poetry group date.
Romeo: The guy who, in the schoolroom challenge, actually calculated how many seconds there were in 24 hours when asked how many times in a day he could tell Michelle she was beautiful. Plus his name is actually Romeo, which is hard to forget in a love-based game show.
Will: Better known for his relationship (or lack of it) with Peter than for his one with Michelle. He was the one who called Peter a narcissist in the classroom challenge, then was at the center of bomber jacket-gate after Peter threw his Top Gun: Maverick coat into the swimming pool just as Michelle was congratulating her men for being so mature.

So long, guys. Maybe see you on Bachelor in Paradise or in whatever influencer Instagram posts you end up doing during your 15 minutes of fame.
With these three gone, 12 men remain: Brandon, Casey, Chris S., Clayton, Joe, Leroy, Martin, Nayte, Olu, Rick and Rodney.
The Bachelorette Season 18 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on ABC. Episodes air on Hulu the day after they air on TV.
