'Bachelorette' Spoilers Just Named a Second Bachelorette From Matt James' Season

A second Bachelorette will be looking for love in 2021, according to Reality Steve. Like last year, which introduced Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams to the world in one season of The Bachelorette, two of Matt James' castoffs will be given another shot at love. The difference, though, is that each will reportedly have their own, full-length season.

Now, it's important to note that neither Bachelorette has been officially announced by ABC. Recently, Reality Steve reported that Katie Thurston will be handing out the roses this summer. And while he hasn't retracted those spoilers, he's since added to them, claiming that Michelle Young will also be a 2021 Bachelorette, and that she'll be at the center of a season wholly separate from Thurston. According to a Reality Steve blog post published on Wednesday, Thurston's season will air in the summer and Young's is tentatively slated to air in the fall.

Fans know that Young's an elementary school teacher, and that's apparently why she's not going to be the Bachelorette until later in the year. As noted by Reality Steve, she already missed some of the 2020-2021 school year when she filmed The Bachelor, and because she made it to the end, she was out of class for an extended time period. So, ABC reportedly decided to give Young the chance to lead her own season when it works better with her teaching schedule.

As of now, Young is still an option on James' season of The Bachelor. She's expected to end up as his runner-up on Monday night's finale, and her own season of The Bachelorette will likely be announced alongside Thurston's.

Young has been a fan favorite so far, with plenty of Twitter users begging to see her handing out the roses. Fans who have already heard the reports about Thurston's Bachelorette season might have given up hope, but the Bachelor franchise is always filled with surprises.

Before she met James on The Bachelor, Young revealed what she's looking for in a man. "Michelle has big dreams for the future and says she wants a man by her side that is supportive and driven to make the world a better place," her Bachelor bio reads. "She is looking for the superman to her superwoman and says that, together, she hopes that she and Matt can fall in love and change the world."

While it doesn't look like James will be her superman (unless he makes a surprise cameo on her Bachelorette season), Young will reportedly have a chance to find her own true love in the fall.
