Big Brother has confirmed that the first eviction of Season 24 has been pushed back again.
The first evicted Houseguest of the 2022 series was due to be voted off last week but after a shock exit from one contestant was announced by host Julie Chen Moonves, the eviction was called off.
Now, the episode where fans were expecting to see the first eviction take place has changed again and will air at a different date than originally scheduled.
Newsweek has everything you need to know about the first official eviction of Big Brother 2022 and why its scheduled airing has changed.

Why Big Brother Has Changed Its First Eviction of 2022
Big Brother has been forced to push back its first official eviction of the season due to the upcoming coverage on CBS News of the House select committee public hearings on the January 6, 2021 attacks at the U.S. Capitol.
The coverage of the hearings will air on Thursday, July 21, from 8 to 10 p.m. ET, crossing over with when the show would normally air, so Big Brother's eviction will now take place on Friday, July 22 instead.
This schedule shake up also means that the premiere of Secret Celebrity Renovation Season 2 has been pushed back, and will now air the following Friday, July 29.

What Happened at Last Week's Big Brother Eviction?
Taylor Hale and Terrance Higgins had been nominated and were at risk of being voted off but instead were given a free pass for the week as host Chen Moonves, 52, confirmed on the July 14 episode that Paloma Aguilar had left the show and that because of this, there would be no eviction.

Before the news that Paloma had left the Big Brother house was confirmed, viewers were shown footage of Paloma discussing her struggles with anxiety and sleeping in the house, as well as her fellow Houseguests voicing their concerns for her.
Paloma was then shown entering the Diary Room and Head of Household at the time Daniel Durston later called everyone to the living room to read a note he had been given by the show's production team.
"Due to a personal matter, Paloma will no longer be continuing in the Big Brother game," he read to his co-stars. "She wanted to pass along that she loves you all and wishes you all the best."
Big Brother continues on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on CBS.
