Big Sky is back for 2021 with Episode 6, the first episode in over a month from the ABC crime drama from Big Little Lies creator David E. Kelley. Big Sky Episode 6 is set to air on Tuesday, January 26, with the episode set to air at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT on ABC.
The official synopsis for the episode reads: "After Jenny (Winnick) and Cassie (Bunbury) learn the truth about Cody's (played by Ryan Phillippe) fate, they decide to officially team up to track down Ronald (Brian Geraghty); Merilee (Brooke Smith) grapples with the fact that she didn't truly know her husband; Helen (Valerie Mahaffey) learns more about her son's recent activities."
The episode is also sure to confirm what happened to Rick (John Carroll Lynch) after he (spoiler alert) got shot in the head—exactly the same thing that happened to Cody in the show twist that the cast managed to spoil during a Good Morning America interview.
Speaking about this to TVInsider, Lynch said: "We'll find out whether or not Rick is dead. Certainly, in the circumstances, one would think so [but] let's just say, he appears in other episodes."
After Episode 6 airs, the show will again start airing weekly again, with new episodes coming every Wednesday. After being extended last year, Season 1 will have 16 episodes, meaning viewers will get at least 11 episodes this year—and possibly more if the show is renewed.
