After two years of waiting, Bluey, the award-winning animation series, is returning very soon to screens.

The much-loved Australian show follows the everyday life of six-year-old Blue Heeler dog Bluey, her mom Chilli, dad Bandit and five-year-old sister Bingo. Bluey's favorite thing to do is play games and go on adventures with her friends and family.

Bluey Season 3, Part 1 will be streaming on Disney+ worldwide on Wednesday, August 10.

There will be 25 episodes in Season 3, Part 1 for families to enjoy. Each episode of Bluey is around seven minutes long and will be available to watch whenever you please on August 10.

The second half of Bluey Season 3 will be available at a later date, which has not yet been announced by Disney.

It is no surprise Bluey is back for Season 3, considering its international success since it premiered in 2018.

Bluey won the International Emmy Award in the preschool category in 2020 and most recently, Bluey earned four 2021 Kidscreen Awards (best animated series, best directing, best writing, best music), a 2021 Rockie Award (best animation program for pre-school viewers), a 2021 ARIA Award for best children's album, the 2021 AACTA best children's program and a nomination for best animated series at the 27th Critics Choice Awards.

It was also named as one of the top 100 sitcoms of all time by Rolling Stone.

What Will Happen in Bluey Season 3, Part 1?

Once again, Bluey Season 3 will follow Bluey, the 6-year-old Heeler dog who loves to play and spend time with his family.

Bluey, who always wants to have fun, often embarks on adventures that can lead to hilariously unpredictable situations but will always have everybody full of love and laughter.

In Bluey Season 3, Part 1, Bluey will be joined by some new characters, visit unexplored locations, and get involved in some never-before-experienced activities.

The official synopsis from Disney reads: "The premiering episodes also include a range of home-based stories that reflect, in humorous and sometimes poignant detail, the usual and unexpected occurrences of everyday family life with relatable themes such as making dad a birthday breakfast, keeping promises, and getting one's own bedroom. Season three will also feature original takes on games, like Musical Statues and Pass the Parcel, among others."

Who Is In The Cast of Bluey Season 3, Part 1?

Australian musician and actor Dave McCormack is back to voice Bluey's dad Bandit and Siren's Melanie Zanetti is back as Bluey's mother Chilli.

Speaking about returning to Bluey, McCormack said: "Playing the role of Dad has been a blast. It's like someone has documented my life and animated it... Then they've given me a script and that script is pretty much exactly my life. It's intense."

Zanetti added: "The joy and incredible cuteness of Bluey has a lot to do with the authenticity of the interactions written and created in each episode. Chilli is an awesome Mum, she's warm, fun, kind, fair, and practical with a wry sense of humor."

Season 3 will also see some returning characters and familiar voices from previous seasons including Brad Elliott as Lucky's Dad, Pat, Series Director Rich Jeffery as Mackenzie's Dad, Anna Daniels as Lucky's Mum, Sean Choolburra returning as Maynard, Megan Washington as Calypso Leigh Sales returning as Coco's Mum, Hamish Blake returning as Jack's Dad, Myf Warhurst as Aunt Trixie and Sam Simmons as Young Bob.
