Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Bridget Marquardt has revealed details about the "black book" that helped him keep track of who he'd slept with in the Playboy Mansion.

Reality TV star Marquardt was discussing life with Playboy, and her relationship with Hefner in the new podcast Girls Next Level, alongside Holly Madison. The latest episode is titled "The Rules of the House," with the pair opening up about their experiences living with Hefner and all of the Playboy Playmates.

The pair have already made a number of revelations on their new podcast, describing aspects of life with Hefner to be "cult-y," while giving details of their first experiences of being intimate with the Playboy founder. They also exposed his cluttered bedroom.

Marquardt and Madison were discussing asking Hefner for their "allowance" when the former revealed an item that he kept locked in his safe.

"He was always very nice about it, at least for me. He'd be like, 'oh, yeah, sure.' And then he would walk over to the safe and open it up, and he has this little black book in there that he would pull out," at this point Madison can be heard saying "ew" in the background.

"The black book kept track of a few different things. It kept track of when somebody collected their allowance. He would mark it off so you couldn't ask for it twice. But it also kept track of who slept with him and when," Marquardt explained.

Madison revealed that when she was moving out of the house, she wanted to break into the safe and burn the book. "Because I'm just so disgusted with how he keeps a record of who he has sex with, what night, and takes all these nudes of all the girls like when they're in the limo and drunk and flashing and stuff and then prints them out hands them to every girl in the limo." Madison continued. "Puts them in a scrapbook, which I later found out at that point he planned on like donating a scrapbook to a library.

"So that was another thing that made me feel kind of weird and afraid to leave as I felt like there was this mountain of revenge porn that everybody's gonna see at some point," Madison said. "It was just gross."

The "black book" that the hosts of Girls Next Level are referring to isn't to be confused with Hef's Little Black Book, a memoir he published in 2004.

Earlier in 2022, the A + E Networks docuseries Secrets of Playboy was launched, revealing hidden details of the infamous Playboy Mansion. At the time, the Playboy brand released a statement distancing itself from the Hefner family.
