Britney Spears has once again lashed out at her family on Instagram, this time taking aim at her father, Jamie Spears, saying she lived under his "slave treatment."

The singer, 40, took to the social media platform to reveal she had used an ATM to withdraw cash for the first time in years after finally being let out of the conservatorship he had placed her under for 13 years.

During the conservatorship, Jamie and lawyers had full control over Spears' life, including her financial and health decisions.

A court ordered the end of the conservatorship in 2021 and Spears has been reveling in her freedom ever since.

Her most recent celebration of independence came when withdrew money from an ATM, which she shared on Instagram.

Alongside a fan-edited Mario Testino photograph of herself, Spears spoke directly to her father in the caption.

"So weird ... my face is super white here 🧛🏻‍♀️ !!! Never saw it like this before 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!" Spears began.

"Anyways ... it's been a while since I talked to my pops !!! Brit Brit's got some good special news 👍🏼 ... this year I've been able to get cash for the first time with my ATM card !!! Damn I must say ... not being a part of your slave treatment program has changed my life 🙈 !!!"

Spears added: "Guess what ??? I can go to spas now too 💅🏼 !!! Remember when my 3 best friends came to visit me from home ... well they all got BUSTED !!! They said they flew in the day of the show but Bryan slipped and said he had gotten them into three clubs that week 🤷🏼‍♀️ !!! It was the white lie SECRET of awkward SILENCE ... but I ain't no victim America !!!!"

She then revealed to her father that she had snuck to a spa with her friends before a performance, where the three friends got pedicures and she treated them to a bottle of champagne each as she watched on.

But her former business managed, Robin Greenhill, reportedly broke up the party.

"Well Robin showed up and said 'You can't go in there' ... so I waited for 5 min outside then left !!!" Spears continued.

"But MORE GOOD NEWS ... I know I couldn't go to spas because you were scared I would drink coffee ☕️ !!! I'm an equal person now !!! I can drink coffee ... and I'm so HAPPY !!! Anyways I just wanted to give you a beautiful SPECIAL HAPPY f*** you 🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!"

Spears was placed in a conservatorship in 2008 on advice from Jamie, and then business manager, Lou M. Taylor.

They initiated the court-appointed action after a series of troubling incidents with her mental health.

Jamie's lawyers argued at the time the conservatorship was "necessary to protect Britney in every sense of the word."

"Her life was in shambles, and she was in physical, emotional, mental and financial distress," they said in a statement at the time.

A Los Angeles judge dissolved the conservatorship in November 2021 after the world heard from Spears from the first time about her harrowing ordeal during her June testimony in court while fighting to end the conservatorship.

She has since revealed she was watched naked while showering, was forced onto medications such as lithium and was even made to have an IUD contraceptive coil to prevent pregnancy.

Newsweek reached out to a representative for Spears for comment.
