Caitlyn Jenner divided the internet over comments she made about the 2024 presidential election, specifically Donald Trump's chances at winning.

The reality star and Olympic champion praised the former president as the only presidential candidate who can appeal to all people.

"It's abundantly clear Trump is the only candidate that knows what it takes to win a general. He is able to thread the line on social issues to appeal to ALL AMERICANS—not just the base. he has built a big tent party—a coalition of support the GOP hasn't seen in decades," Jenner wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

But not everyone who saw Jenner's post agreed.

"Keep trump on the ballot. He'll lose," replied one person.

Another added: "You're talking about the guy whose candidates he endorses keep losing right."

And a third wrote: "This is embarrassing."

While plenty of other people thought Jenner hit the nail on the head.

"Well said!" one person posted.

A second replied: "True that. Well said Caitlin!"

While another commented: "Absolutely well said!"

Jenner is no stranger to supporting Trump and has long endorsed her fellow former reality star, even recently labeling him an "elite athlete" for his golfing prowess. She is also one of many Republicans who continue to support Trump amid his ongoing legal issues.

Trump is facing 91 felony charges across four criminal indictments in jurisdictions across the country and is currently facing a $250 million civil fraud trial accused of inflating his net worth by billions of dollars in order to get better bank loans and reduced tax bills. He has denied wrongdoing.

However, despite supporting him during the 2016 election, Jenner temporarily changed her tune in 2018, where she spoke out against him in an op-ed published by The Washington Post.

Jenner came out as a transgender woman in 2015 and wrote in the op-ed that the trans community was being "relentlessly attacked by this president."

"The leader of our nation has shown no regard for an already marginalized and struggling community. He has ignored our humanity. He has insulted our dignity," she wrote.

"He has made trans people into political pawns as he whips up animus against us in an attempt to energize the most right-wing segment of his party, claiming his anti-transgender policies are meant to 'protect the country.' This is politics at its worst. It is unacceptable, it is upsetting, and it has deeply, personally hurt me."
