If Call of Duty tradition and the release of the Season 1 update are any indication, players can expect Modern Warfare Season 2 to begin around 1 p.m. EST February 11. Most of the game's major updates have gone live at that time, so this should be no different. Within a half hour before or after that time window, the 1.14 update will likely become available to download.

What to expect from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2

While Infinity Ward and Activision were initially cagey about the contents of Modern Warfare Season 2, leaks from Friday evening offer fans a sneak peek at what to expect from the Operators, weapons and maps featured alongside the next Battle Pass. • Ghost - New Operator: The featured Operator for Season 2 is the beloved Modern Warfare 2 character, Ghost. We don't quite know how this Special Forces agent might alter gameplay, but we can't wait to find out.
• Weapons
• GRAU 5.56: Lightweight, maneuverable and full of potential. A new assault rifle.
• Striker 45: Hard-hitting and long-range SMG. This could be like the beloved UMP-45.
• Battle Pass Bundles: The pass has 80 additional items including XP Tokens, Watches and more.
• Standard: Ghost, 100 tiers of content and 1,300 CoD Points [1,000 CoD Points]
• Bundle: Standard content plus 20 tier skips and 2,400 CoD Points [4,000 CoD Points]
• Weapon Blueprints: New Blueprints will obviously be available, hopefully alongside the overhauled freeform customization system Infinity Ward has been teasing for several weeks.
• New Operator Skins: More skins. Preview them in the article linked above.
• Maps Include Rust: One map to be featured in Season 2 is Rust, the iconic arena that first made its debut in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
