The one-off, hour-long show focusing on the life of Betty White will air on Monday, January 31, 2022, on NBC at 10 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. CT.

The latest special dedicated to White's life comes weeks after her 100th birthday on January 17, 2022. On that date, Betty White: 100 Years Young—a Birthday Celebration aired in movie theaters as a celebration for her centenary. The movie featured more celebrity tributes and an interview with White herself, the majority of which were filmed before the news of her death.

Many of White's famous friends, colleagues and fans will appear in Celebrating Betty White: America's Golden Girl to pay tribute.
President Joe Biden is one of those scheduled to appear. The president even tweeted about White after her death on December 31.

The show is a Brad Lachman Production, and is executive produced by Brad Lachman and Bill Bracken.
White died in her sleep on New Year's Eve in 2021 at her home in Los Angeles, after suffering from a stroke on Christmas Day. According to the Associated Press, Betty White was cremated and her remains were given to the person in charge of her advanced health care directive, Glenn Kaplan.
