'The Challenge: USA': Who Went Home in Week 7? CBS Teases New Twist

The Challenge: USA has sent home two more contestants during Week 7 of the competition.

A cast full of reality TV stars from shows like Love Island, Big Brother, Survivor and The Amazing Race entered the show early July in hopes of winning the $500,000 prize.

But that journey is over for two players after an extremely difficult elimination challenge.

What Happened on Episode 7 of 'The Challenge: USA'?

At the beginning of The Challenge: USA episode, the new pairings for this week were revealed.

Each week an algorithm has been randomly pairing contestants together and this week we had: Enzo and Angela; Danny and Justine; David and Cashay; Kyland and Kyra; Leo and Alyssa; Domenick and Cayla; Tyson and Sarah; and Ben and Desi.

Before the weekly challenge had even begun, Leo was seen trying to quit the show. He had called his girlfriend back home but got into to a fight over the bar he owns, which she was having to run while away. The argument made Leo panic and want to head back to her but his partner Alyssa, who worried that if Leo left she would also be out of the competition, convinced him to stay.

The contestants were then seen taking part in this week's challenge. The teams had to work together to drive a car with four giant balls attached to the outside. They had to pop the balls or wreck the cars of the other pairs. The drivers were blindfolded, so the passengers had to be the eyes and communicate with their partner on where to drive.

The last pair remaining with either an unbroken ball or their car still functioning would win. Cayla and Domenick eventually came out on top.

Alyssa and Leo were the first pair to have their car wrecked and therefore went straight through to elimination.

Who Got Eliminated From Episode 7 of 'The Challenge: USA'?

For this week's The Challenge: USA elimination, Dom and Cayla chose Kyland and Kyra to go into the arena alongside Alyssa and Leo.

The Week 7 elimination challenge, "Ball and Chain," was a tricky one. Players had to reveal trivia questions that were high on a wall and then find and unlock the heavy medicine ball that had the answer that question. The final part of the challenge saw them have to lift the medicine ball up and over the wall.

The first team to answer all six questions correctly and line up the medicine balls in place would win.

The players struggled with the physically demanding challenge but they pushed through it and eventually both pairs were neck and neck when it came down to the final answer. Leo and Alyssa managed to sneak ahead and get their last question right first, sending Kyland and Kyra home.

At the end of the episode, host T.J. Lavin told contestants that the algorithm would not be pairing players up any more.

The episode was left on a cliffhanger so fans will need to tune in to the next episode to find out exactly what this means for players. Will they get to choose their next partner? Or play individually? All will be revealed on Episode 8 of The Challenge: USA.
