Musician Charlie Puth sent a heartfelt video to a man that was rejected from The Juilliard School. The viral video currently has 1.3 million likes and 4.7 million views.
Founded in 1905, The Juilliard School is located in New York City with an acceptance rate of 7 percent. Famous alumni includes Adam Driver, Robin Williams, Viola Davis, Oscar Issac, and Jessica Chastain.
In the popular video posted to Tiktok, Puth responded to aspiring actor, Axel Webber, after he announced that he was rejected from Juilliard. Webber has been documenting his experience on the video sharing app of applying to the school leading up to his audition. He has also previously shared videos of his small New York City apartment and life in the Big Apple. Webber currently has 2.4 million followers.
Mentioning that he commented on Webber's video, Puth wanted to make a video message as well. The "One Call Away" singer goes into detail about his struggle getting into school, sharing that he, too, has experienced many rejections.
"A prestigious conservatory for the arts is not going to be the thing that defines your career as an actor," he explained.
He then moved into the discussion of rejection and how everyone experiences it on a daily basis. He explained how much he loves Webber's content adding, "I think you'll be OK."
Users wrote sweet messages in the comment section to show their support.
"this is everything," @Tiktok said.
"We are all rooting for him," @Hannah responded.
Television production studio CBS wrote, "Crying." The comment surpassed 22,000 likes and many replied asking they give Webber a job.
"YOU CAN LITERALLY FIX IT," @Zach responded.
@Katie also commented, "cbs let him work backstage to on screen or something i mean y'all r both in New York; you wouldn't have to cover flying fees..."
The following day, Webber reacted to Puth's message to him thanking him for his kind thoughts. "Do I always look this sad?" Webber chuckled to himself while listening to the celebrity. The video already has over 700,000 likes and 2.4 million views.

Webber also took to the comments to thank everyone saying, "you make the rejection feel like another step rather than a loss."
He has a lot of supporters that hope for the best.
"you are so incredible bro," @Anna said.
@Camylio had to share some words of encouragement, "my guy u are so far beyond what a college can do for you already!! congrats on everything, confident we'll be seeing you all over someday soon."
Webber told Newsweek the "real" reason he shared his saga is a simple one: "My dad told me to!"
"I was living in my car and waiting for an apartment in NYC. My pops called and said he wanted to see where I was staying, how i was surviving, and what i was eating. He said 'pick up the camera and document the journey! Your mom will want to see it too!' Since then, I've been documenting everything! Mom and dad get to see it, and everyone else too," Webber said.
As for what's next, the TikTok sensation has a manager and he just signed his first modeling contract with The Society Management.
"I'm focused on continuing to grow my audience and I want to start taking acting classes," he said. "I know that numbers will get me through the door, but talent will keep me in the room. I have a lot to work on, but I've never been afraid of a challenge. I'm excited for what's to come & I'm excited to bring you guys along."
