Coco Austin on Sunday responded to the backlash she's received online for washing her 6-year-old daughter in a kitchen sink.

Austin, who is married to rapper and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Ice-T, posted a video on TikTok on Thursday of her daughter, Chanel, looking at a tablet while bathing in a sink. The post resulted in negative comments from people who said Austin's daughter was too old for such treatment.

"Wow just Wow! Here we go again!" Austin wrote on Twitter on Sunday. "Giving my lil girl a bath in the sink went Viral? SMH!"

Her tweet continued: "People, you gotta know by now that I'm an unconventional mother. I do what works and is easier on me. Some may want to take some pointers rather than rag on me!"

Austin was already a successful model when she married Ice-T in 2002, and has also acted in several films. Arguably, her most high-profile moment in the spotlight came from Ice Loves Coco, a reality program that debuted in 2011 on E! and ran for three seasons. The show documented the lives of Austin and her rapper/actor spouse.

Ice-T has not responded to any of the remarks made about his daughter's sink bath. However, he pushed back earlier this year against the media over coverage of his family after Austin posted a picture on social media of Chanel sitting in a stroller.

"MFs ain't got s–t else to talk about," Ice-T wrote at the time about the stroller coverage. "SMH. lol."

Austin's Thursday TikTok documented her and Chanel preparing for a Patricia Fields fashion show. The video opened with Chanel sitting in the sink, with Austin writing the caption: "The sink is easiest when you have to be fast."

The clip went on to show Coco going through her hair routine and Chanel picking out an outfit. However, it was the moment of Chanel in the sink that drew much of the attention in the comments section, which included multiple critiques of Austin's parenting style.

"She's definitely old enough to bathe herself," read one comment that was typical of the complaints.

Not everyone gave Austin a hard time in the comments, though, with many people complimenting the family's looks, as well as their sink.

"Damn how deep is your sink. And sink baths are the best. My kids are too big for ours," wrote one person.

Austin replied to the comment, "Well its deep but she is also petite."

Newsweek reached out to Austin for comment.
