A corgi called Wesly has moved viewers after a TikTok video of him taking care of his disabled brother went viral.
In the viral post shared in September by the dogs' owner under the username Weslyandbrady, Wesly can be seen pulling a wheeled cart carrying his brother Brady, who became disabled but would not give up on his daily walks.
The heartwarming clip comes with a caption that says: "Brady can no longer go on walks, so we push him in a wagon while Wesly walks and he is just as happy to get to be out and about. Don't worry, Wesly was not actually pulling the wagon!!! I was pulling and let go. No corgis were harmed!"
A more recent post showed followers a new solution for Brady. He got a wheelchair that he can drag with his forelegs and take out on his daily walks with Wesly.
The Pembroke Welsh corgi is the 11th most popular dog in the United States, according to a 2022 list of the country's most popular dogs from the American Kennel Club (AKC).
First on the list is the French bulldog, which has broken the Labrador retriever's top dog status for over three decades. The latter is now second on the list, followed by golden retrievers, German shepherds and poodles.
"Newly recognized by the AKC in 2022, the Mudi and Russian Toy debuted at No. 150 and No. 144—not bad for their first year!" the AKC says. "The Bracco Italiano became the 200th breed fully recognized by the AKC in July of 2022; as a result, it will debut in the registration rankings for 2023."
The TikTok video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received over 179,700 views and 29,200 likes.
