A woman made a shocking discovery when she found a car buried in land she had recently bought.
Vicky, who is from Ohio, thought she saw a vehicle buried while walking around her new land around a month after purchasing it with her partner.
"I saw a hole in the side of the hill and thought it might be an animal or insect nest," she told Newsweek. However, she decided to inspect the area more closely. She was shocked to realize that a car was, in fact, under there.
"I looked into it (carefully!) and saw a cinder block and some metal," she said.
"I walked around the hill and saw a taillight and part of the trunk. We started digging and found the rest."

Vicky posted the discovery online, sharing a video on TikTok (@radagast09) that has received over 350,000 views since it was first shared earlier this week. She captioned the clip: "I found a car buried on my land so there's that."
The video shows the car poking out of the ground, covered in long grass that looks like it hasn't been cut in months. Vicky has since posted follow-up videos showing more of the car unearthed. However, it appears much more work must be done to uncover the whole vehicle.
"I'm honestly not sure what to do once it's dug up. We will probably have to pay someone to remove it," she told Newsweek. "I'll give it to anyone who wants to start a series to try to get it fixed up."

According to Ohio Realtors, around 127,016 homes were sold in the state of Ohio in 2023.
Viewers took to the comments of Vicky's video to share their thoughts on her discovery. Most were puzzled about how the car came to be buried on the property in the first place...and why.
"This is not looking suspicious at all," one TikToker wrote.
"This is gonna lead to an episode of Forensic Files or something. I can feel it," Another commenter wrote.
"In my brain, it's hiding evidence from a murder," said TikTok user @D-Nice.
"The amount of effort to bury a car... why though?" commenter @KristieRenee questioned.
Another TikTok user named Retta shared that she had actually experienced something similar in the past: "My dad dug a hole. Drove a bread truck in and covered it in our backyard. No one wanted to buy it," she commented.
