The Crown season four's first trailer has been released by Netflix—and it features an angry confrontation between Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

Fans got a glimpse of Emma Corrin's turn as Princess Diana in the latest instalment of the popular show. In the new season, the actress wears a replica of the Princess of Wales' wedding dress as she marries Prince Charles.

The teaser hints at how new episodes—released on November 15—will reflect the messy reality of a marriage that unravelled in public.

Prince Charles, portrayed by Josh O'Connor, can be seen screaming at Diana even as lines from the real royal wedding are spoken in the background.

The voice-over is taken from a reading actually given by the Archbishop of Canterbury during the real ceremony in St Paul's Cathedral, London, in 1981

It states: "Here is the stuff of which fairytales are made — a prince and princess on their wedding day.

"But fairy tales usually end, at this point, with the simple phrase: 'They lived happily ever after.'

"As husband and wife live out their vows, loving and cherishing one another, sharing life's splendors and miseries, achievements and setbacks, they will be transformed in the process.

"Our faith sees the wedding day not as the place of arrival but the place where the adventure really begins."

Season Four will depict the Prince of Wales having an affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles, who later became the Duchess of Cornwall when she wed Charles in 2005.

Gillian Anderson also enters the cast this season, playing the then-U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Corrin wears a replica of Diana's spectacular wedding dress, which had a 25ft train.

The actress recently told the Radio Times: "I loved the process of the fittings actually, weirdly, almost more than the wearing it on the day.

"Because we don't really... we don't actually show the wedding — I'm in the wedding dress for, like, a fraction of a moment.

"But actually I had so many fittings for it, I think about probably four or five, and each of one of those was several hours long."

It also recently emerged that the season will hint at Prince Andrew's friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein during a storyline about him getting together with American girlfriend Koo Stark.

British newspaper The Times reported how one episode depicting the 1981 relationship makes reference to Stark playing a character in a film who entertains several "old predators who seduce the vulnerable, helpless young Emily."

Virginia Giuffre, Prince Andrew's accuser, recently said on Twitter: "So not right!! Is sexual abuse now entertaining? @TheCrownNetflix."

Prince Andrew denies any form of sexual contact or relationship with Giuffre,
