Daniella Karagach, a pro-dancer on Dancing with the Stars, has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Monday night's performance, the show confirmed on Instagram.

In its post, Dancing with the Stars wrote: "Unfortunately, Daniella Karagach tested positive overnight for Covid. She is completely asymptomatic and is self-quarantining. Everyone who has been in close contact with her has tested negative."

The post continued: "Dance troupe member Alexis Warr will step in and dance with Joseph in Daniella's place tonight. Following our strict protocols, those considered close contacts to Daniella will be masked on tonight's show."

Karagach is paired with Joseph Baena, a real estate agent and the son of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The pair are competing against the likes of Charli D'Amelio and Mark Ballas, Wayne Brady and Witney Carson, Selma Blair and Sasha Farber, and Teresa Giudice, who is paired with Pasha Pashkov, whom Karagach is married to.

Karagach will have to miss this week's Elvis Night, in which the celebrities and dancers will all pay tribute to Elvis Presley by performing dances to one of the rock-and-roll king's songs.

According to a list on Twitter from Page Six's Desiree Murphy, Baena and Karagach were set to dance the Viennese Waltz to Elvis's "If I Can Dream," which he will now be performing with Warr.

Last week, Karagach and Baena earned a score of 23 out of 40 points for their jive.

Dancing With the Stars returned on September 19 to Disney+, with Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro hosting, and since the premiere, at least four cases of COVID-19 have been reported.

At the time, a representative from the show told Deadline that all four crew members out of over 300 were in "completely different departments that do not have in person contact with each other, based on our pod system."

"Contact tracing was immediately conducted," the spokesperson continued. "All close contacts were notified and put on an increased testing cadence. No close contact of the four positive production employees has since tested positive. After our Covid compliance officer provided all of this information, 'Dancing with the Stars' was cleared by the Department of Public Health to continue production, based on our strict safety protocols."

Last year, pro-dancer Cheryl Burke and her partner Cody Rigsby both tested positive for COVID. The pair performed one of their dances from separate homes through Zoom and even made it to the finale.

Newsweek reached out to a representative for Dancing with the Stars for additional comment.
