A clip of a death-defying bike stunt is going viral online with people claiming they wouldn't even attempt it in a video game.

ESPN's SportsCenter shared a clip of a mountain biker screaming down a cliff-side trail, which appears to be no more than a foot wide in places.

"Would you try this?" they asked, and the resounding answer is no.

The video has been watched nearly 3 million times since being tweeted on Tuesday.

Viewers have claimed they're scared just watching it, with Cole Kuiper writing: "I wouldn't even try this in a video game."

"This is begging natural selection to pick you," Jam thought.

While Tallyohhh asked: "From 300ft+ in the air? Nah. You will die and if you survive you'll have so many broken bones."

Marquell Jones commented: "Nope. I'm scared just by watching."

Agreeing, Joe Fernandez said: "No. I would not even go up there walking. Just watching this makes me nervous."

While Sofie Kouleas simple asked: "Why wear the helmet?"

And multiple people questioned how the extraordinary footage was filmed,

"How the hell is it being filmed, I'm more impressed with that? Drone?" Fran Schmanek queried.

Chu Chu commented: "Anyone else wonder how he is being recorded...????"

And Sarthak also enquired: "Quick question: Who shot the video?"

The footage was originally shot by pro biker Kilian Bron, at the gorge at Congost de Mont-rebei, Spain, which has sheer cliffs 500 meters (over 1,600 feet) high in some places.

He originally shared it to Instagram, saying: "There is no place for doubts! But I have to follow some rules: put myself into my bubble, analyse, anticipate and then ride!"

And Kilian seemed to clear up exactly what was shooting the heart-stopping clip, as he added the hashtag "#gopro" to the post.

Last month a bike crash made headlines for a very unusual reason: UFOs.

A motorcyclist, Richman Myambo of Chipinge, Zimbabwe, claims he was run off the road by a mysterious object, which looked like "a rocket with fire on its back."

The 47-year-old told ZBC News: "I was traveling home on my motorbike at around 9 a.m. when I witnessed a strange light traveling in the sky," he said, describing the scene. "I tried to concentrate on riding, but what made me fall was the sound that followed after the light. I then fell off the bike due to panic. I thought I was dying."

He was later taken to Chipinge District Hospital after sustaining a leg injury, maintaining he was "100% sober."
