The San Francisco 49ers demolished the Dallas Cowboys 42-10 in Week 5, and two days later, Pro Bowl players on both sides aren't quite done taking shots at each other.
San Francisco tight end George Kittle unveiled the "[expletive] Dallas" shirt he was wearing under his pads during Sunday's game. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons took exception and later vowed that results would be different if Dallas got a rematch. San Francisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel is the latest player to chime in, and his response to Parsons was simple: Be careful what you wish for.
"It was already personal before the game started... 42-10?" Samuel said Tuesday on the Up & Adams Show. "I don't think you want to see us again. It might be a little bit worse."

It may be tough to imagine a rematch going worse, at least for Cowboys fans. San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 252 yards and four touchdowns, including three to Kittle, in the 49ers' Sunday Night Football win. Kittle became the first Niners player with three TD catches in one game since 2009. And he was clearly fired up about it.
The four-time Pro Bowler posted a picture of his not-so-friendly shirt to Instagram on Monday. What Samuel reacted to on Tuesday was Parsons' response to seeing Kittle's shirt.
"I just feel like he's making it way more personal than it had to be," Parsons said on his The Edge podcast Monday night. "Kittle's my guy, but I'm gonna say this: Laugh now, cry later. We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust....If you gonna make it personal, we can make it personal. That's cool."
Kittle's apparel was a callback to Gary Plummer, a former 49ers linebacker who wore the same shirt when the 49ers defeated the two-time defending Super Bowl champions in the 1994 NFC Championship Game.
The current 49ers-Cowboys rivalry certainly isn't as competitive as when Steve Young and Troy Aikman were battling it out. San Francisco has knocked Dallas out of the playoffs in each of the last two seasons. The Cowboys' 32-point defeat on Sunday was their worst loss since 2013. San Francisco gained 421 yards and scored six touchdowns against Dallas' self-proclaimed "best defense in the NFL."
The 49ers, meanwhile, forced four turnovers and recorded four sacks while holding the Cowboys to less than 200 yards of offense.
"Didn't see it coming," Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said. "Put everything into this, and got punched in the mouth. It was humbling a couple weeks ago against Arizona. But this may be the most humbling game I've ever been a part of."
The 49ers have won 15 consecutive regular-season games and are one of two 5-0 teams in the NFL after their drubbing of Dallas. The Cowboys are now 3-2 and trail the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles by two games in the NFC East.
