In the video, published on TikTok by the dogs' owner, known as Gljfitnessuk, the beagle, Lola, can be seen pushing Luna away from some bushwood in the garden, while their owner screams "Lola, you're not a bull!"

According to data published by Pet Keen, in the United States, 69 million households own at least one dog. The labrador retriever has remained the most popular dog breed choice for American households since 1991.

Each year, 3.3 million dogs enter shelters across the country, and 48 percent of them get adopted. Some 620,000 dogs taken into shelters each year are reunited with their owners. About 20 percent of dogs that enter shelters each year are euthanized.
