A dog that resembles a character from the 2021 movie The Suicide Squad has delighted the internet after gaining viral attention.
Shared on Reddit's popular r/WhatsWrongWithYourDog on Wednesday, Sarah—who uses the handle _i_am_a_banana on Reddit—posted the picture of her dog Ratty alongside a shot of The Weasel from Suicide Squad with the caption: "Realized tonight that our dog looks like The Weasel from Suicide Squad."
Ratty—short for Ratdog—lives with Sarah and her husband in Western Australia. Now around 10 years old, she is a rescue dog who has been with the couple for nine years.

Sarah told Newsweek: "She was taken to my sister-in-law's vet clinic after she was hit by a car. She had really bad brain damage and walked in circled for three weeks, but then surprisingly came good.
"She now only occasionally licks windows or walls," she laughed.
When her sister-in-law had to move overseas shortly after adopting Ratty, the couple agreed to take her in.
"We're unsure of her breed," said Sarah. "We guess she could be a Cairn Terrier and Chihuahua mix—but we joke that she could be a fruit bat and hyena judging by her looks."
The hilarious comparison between Ratty the dog and furry creature Weasel from The Suicide Squad has left the internet in stitches.
Portrayed by Gilmore Girls actor Sean Gunn in the 2021 movie, the character of Weasel first entered the DC universe in the comics back in 1985. In the comics, Weasel—real name John Monroe—is actually a human who wears a costume to resemble the strange mammal while carrying out multiple crime sprees. The sinister furry murderer made multiple appearances in the DC comics until his death in 1988.
Resurrected in 2013 and now as one of the new Suicide Squad members, Weasel's modern iteration is a full animal-human hybrid making for a pretty terrifying supervillain.

"The comparison came when my husband was watching The Suicide Squad and rushed out to show me Ratty's twin on the screen," explained Sarah. "We both lost it laughing and I just knew I had to post it online. It was too funny not to share."
"Literally chortled," said one Reddit user in the comments of the pup comparison. "Wow! And I thought my dog was aesthetically challenged," said another user.
Another commenter joked: "So which one is which?"
Sarah said she was thrilled that Ratty could make so many people laugh. "Hopefully her scruffy weasel face can help brighten someone's day," she said.
Earlier this year, a dog who resembles a bat captured hearts online after becoming an internet star before finding her forever home.
