Being stung by a wasp is a nasty experience, and one dog on TikTok knows this only too well.
In footage shared to the app by Nathan Fleming, known online as KungFuFlem, a dog can be seen lying on a beige sofa.
When his owner approaches the cute canine lifts up his back leg as if to show his paw to the camera.
Text overlaying the video explains: "He got stung by a bee this morning and every time I walk by him he lifts his paw to show me."
The clip is made all the more adorable by the pet's wide-eyed expression, and the nursery-style music that is playing in the background.

Since it was posted to the social media site on July 16 the video has so far been viewed a whopping 3 million times. It has also been liked by more than 523,200 people.
Many people have rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the heartwarming clip.
One TikTok user, Valanciagiles0, wrote: "Lol his face is like 'you see this momma.'"

In footage, posted to TikTok by thebeagleandthebun, a small grey and white kitten can be seen snoozing away next to the sleeping beagle as the golden ear of the dog is flopped over the baby cat's head and shoulders.
The sweet scene is captioned: "Just using the dogs ear as a blanket #cat #dog," alongside a laughing-face emoji.
