Footage of Donald Trump golfing has gone viral following an awards night at his club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The former president was ridiculed online after bragging about taking home two trophies on Sunday night, despite owning the golf club.

Ron Filipkowski—vocal Trump critic and editor-in-chief at the Meidas Touchshared a video of the business mogul putting a ball on the green. After successfully making the shot, Trump raised his arms in the air with glee while his companions cheered.

"It's hilarious to me when the sycophants act like he just won the Masters playing out at his club," Filipkowski wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The video has received over 425,000 views so far, with several users joining Filipkowski in poking fun at Trump.

"Reaction is a little intense," commented Paul Stephens.

"Geez it's a four foot putt. He's reacting like he knocked it in from Sand trap and sunk it from 20 feet," said Elaine.

"I think he was shocked he made it," joked @ResistanceWorks.

"I've seen 4 year olds sink longer ones at mini golf," said @Rene_gadeCowboy.

"This reminds me of the times when my now ex-husband and I would cheer after our kids would make poopies on the potty," wrote Jo.

However, others praised the former president's golfing skills.

"What a great putt, from a GREAT man," said Jonathan.

"Tell me you know nothing about golf without saying you know nothing about golf," wrote Phlippr.

"It's called having fun with your buddy's. It really not that hard to imagine," commented @light_make49001.

Golfing legend Jack Nicklaus handed Trump one of two awards at last night's gala, with the real estate magnate winning the Club Championship Trophy and the Senior Club Championship last week.

Nicklaus endorsed Trump in the 2020 general election. In April 2023, the 18-time major championship winner suggested he would do so again if Trump landed the Republican party nomination in 2024.

Trump took to Truth Social to share his excitement ahead of the event, writing: "It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!'"

However, Joe Biden mocked the 77-year-old's wins, posting to X: "Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment."

The President will be facing Trump once again in November's general election. The 81-year-old is currently leading his Republican rival in the polls, but it's a close call between the pair. According to The Economist, Biden's polling average is at 45 percent—just one percent ahead of Trump at 44 percent.
