Howard Stern on Monday expressed disbelief about how former President Donald Trump has not been indicted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for his handling of classified documents.
"I don't know how they don't indict the dude, but maybe again he'll get away with it," Stern said on his SiriusXM radio show. "I think there's a law in this country, and then there's no laws for Donald Trump."
During the broadcast, the popular host discussed the FBI's August raid of Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, where more than 100 classified documents were reportedly recovered.
This month, a federal judge handed Trump a victory by approving his request to have a special master assigned to review the records seized during the raid. The former president's legal team has since objected to special master candidates proposed by the DOJ.

"He gets away with all kinds of s**t," Stern said of Trump.
Before Trump was president, he was frequent guest on Stern's show. The host brought up their past familiarity during Monday's broadcast.
"It's so weird. I knew Donald for so many years—not in touch with him now, obviously," Stern said. "The only thing that I used to say about Donald: The guy just wants to be the focus of attention. He wants the whole world looking at him. And son of a gun, if he didn't make that happen."
Stern discussed why he believes Trump might have brought classified documents to Mar-a-Lago. Stern said it goes back to Trump not being able to believe he actually won the 2016 presidential election.
"When those Russian ambassadors came to visit him—if you remember early on in his administration—he started showing them top-secret documents like saying, 'Can you believe I have access to this s**t?!'" Stern said.
Thus, Stern felt Trump held on to the records to "prove that he was president. In a way, he doesn't even believe it."
Stern also theorized that Trump might have kept the documents to sell them to Russia or Saudi Arabia.
"Imagine if he says, 'Look, man. Give me a couple of billion dollars, and I'll show you where France keeps their nuclear weapons,'" he said. "'Hey, you guys want to buy this from me? I mean, I could sell it to you, Russia, for like, you know, $50 billion. You'll know everyone's nuclear secrets.'"
Stern added, "I don't even think he has any idea what's in those documents. He just wants them."
Newsweek reached out to Trump and Stern for comment.
