A savvy edit of recent campaign speeches by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump comparing their styles has gone viral.

The video first appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe program and used footage from Biden's speech in Pennsylvania on Friday and Trump's rally in Iowa the following day.

Some described Biden's fiery speech as one of the best he's ever delivered, covering topics from democracy to the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and even the Civil War.

The edited video was shared to X, previously Twitter, by Ron Filipkowski, a former federal prosecutor and frequent Trump critic. It has received almost 370,000 views.

"Great supercut by Morning Joe contrasting Biden and Trump's speeches this week," he captioned the post.

The MSNBC video started with Biden addressing the January 6 riots, which saw Trump supporters storm the capitol to protest what they believed were rigged election results.

"For the first time in our history, insurrectionists had come to stop the peaceful transfer of power in America," Biden said.

It was compared to Trump's take on the events, where he said: "Millions of people storming the United States... When you talk about insurrection, what they're doing? That's that's the real deal. That's a real deal, not patriotically and peacefully.

The next cut was of Biden describing the insurrectionists: "Trump's mob wasn't a peaceful protest, it was a violent assault."

Then a brief clip of Trump saw him sending a direct message to Biden about six people imprisoned for their role on January 6, which the former president has coined as the "J-6".

"Released the J-6 hostages Joe," Trump said in Iowa on Saturday.

Biden's next clip saw him saying: "Really some of Trump's assaults on democracy are not just part of his past, it's what his promising with the future. Stay in those voting booths," he urged people.

Whereas Trump seemed to incite singular action by his supporters on election day by urging them if they "see bags of c*** coming into the voting areas, you've got to stop it."

Biden also called Trump a "loser" for not admitting defeat at the 2020 election, whereas Trump said he would win the 2024 election and that would be his "third" time winning the presidency.

The rest of the speech saw Biden condemning Trump's admiration of dictatorial leaders, and the latter praising people such as China's Xi Jinping, North Korea's Kim Jong-un and even the late Iraqi despot Saddam Hussein, saying he was a "tough guy."

Biden took aim at Trump for calling deceased veterans "suckers," while in the video Trump argued the Civil War could have been resolved with negotiations.

Trump made the comments about veterans in 2018 when he cancelled a scheduled visit to honor 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood.

People responded to the video in the Filipkoswki's replies.

"One of these guys is a President. The other is a destructive clown," wrote one person.

Another added: "I honestly don't know how anybody looks at Trump & claims him for any reason."

And a third wrote: "Vision over Catastrophe: Hope over Despair: Humility over Egotism: Intelligence over Idiocy: Decensy over Mockery: Truth over Lies: Why is it even a contest?"
