Donald Trump Jr. Compares Syrian Refugees To Deadly Skittles

Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has compared Syrian refugees to Skittles—the brand of fruit-flavored candy.

Suggesting that the U.S. should not accept any refugees by using a food analogy to imply that if a few people in a group are bad, it would be dangerous to take a single one in, Donald Trump Jr. posted an image and above it posed the question: "If I had a bowl of skittles and I told you just three would kill you, would you take a handful?"

"That's our Syrian refugee problem."

Alongside the image, he commented: "This image says it all. Let's end the politically correct agenda that doesn't put America first."

In response to the tweet, Twitter users have posted images of war-torn children with the caption: "Not a skittle."
