Donald Trump has announced a string of new rallies to be held across the U.S. in support of a number of candidates he has endorsed in the upcoming midterm elections.
The former president will be holding four rallies over the course of five days in key swing states, with the final one taking place in Ohio on the eve of the polls opening on November 8.

While announcing the rallies, which are also being held in Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Florida, Trump's Save America Super PAC said in a statement the events are a continuation of the Republican's "unprecedented effort to advance the MAGA (Make America Great Again) agenda by energizing voters and highlighting the slate of Trump Endorsed America First candidates."
The rallies will take place as the GOP is aiming to retake control of the House and Senate in November's midterms, which will require Trump's endorsed candidates—some of whom have no previous political experience—to come out on top in their respective races.
November 3, Iowa
The first of Trump's rallies in the run-up to the midterms will be at the Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City, Iowa, on Thursday, November 3, where the former president will come out in support of Governor Kim Reynolds and Senator Chuck Grassley.
In the announcement, Trump's team referenced an early October poll of 804 adults in which 73 percent said the nation is on "the wrong track" under Joe Biden and the Democrats.
However, a Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll published Wednesday found that a majority (52 percent) now hold a very or mostly unfavorable view of Trump.
November 5, Pennsylvania
Two days later, Trump will be at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, to show support for the gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano and Senate hopeful, Dr. Mehmet Oz.
The rally arrives as Oz competes in one of the most fiercely contested races in the entire midterms, as the celebrity heart surgeon battles it out with Democrat John Fetterman for the Senate seat.
Mastriano is also in need of a campaign boost as polls show him continually trailing to Democrat Josh Shapiro in the race to be governor.
"As Biden's approval-rating plummets, Pennsylvania crime spikes, and Pennsylvanians grapple with a 74 percent hike in heating oil, coupled with record inflation, just weeks away from winter," Trump's Super PAC said in a statement.
"The America First Movement offers the Keystone State an alternative vision for America: safe streets, cheap gas, low inflation and a thriving American economy."
November 6, Florida
The next stage of Trump's mini tour will be to Florida, where he will show support for Senator Marco Rubio at the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition.
What is significant about the rally in Florida is that Ron DeSantis will not be present, and was not even told the event will be happening, according to Politico media outlet. This is the latest sign the relationship between Trump and the governor is strained, amid reports both men are planning a 2024 run for president.
"President Trump delivered a historic red wave for Florida in the 2018 midterms with his slate of endorsed candidates up and down the ballot and molded the Sunshine State into the MAGA stronghold it is today," the former president's team said. "Thanks to President Trump, Florida is no longer a purple state; it's an America First Red State."
November 7, Ohio
Finally, Trump will hold a rally in Vandalia, Ohio, on Monday, November 7, to show support for his endorsed candidates in the state, most notably Senate hopeful J.D. Vance.
The Hillbilly Elegy author is in another close midterm race, narrowly beating his Democratic rival Tim Ryan in the most-recent opinion polls.
According to FiveThirtyEight's national survey average, Vance is ahead of Ryan by fewer than 2 points (46.3 percent to 44.6).
In a news release, Save America PAC said that Trump's rally at the Wright Bros. Aero Inc. at Dayton International Airport "comes on the heels of record-setting 40-year high inflation in the Buckeye State, where nearly 70 percent of all Ohioans agree the country is heading 'in the wrong direction' under Joe Biden."
