Drag Race UK is edging closer and closer to naming the Season 3 winner and with each week, the competition between the Queens is getting closer and tougher. Week 6 of Drag Race UK was the much loved Snatch Game, which saw the remaining seven Queens impersonate their favorite celebrities in a bid to make RuPaul laugh.
In a shocking twist and for the first time this series, two Queens were asked to sashay away from the competition after failing to impress Ru in Snatch Game and on the runaway, where the category was Feeling Fruity.
Newsweek spoke to Choriza May and River Medway, the two Queens to get the surprise double axe.
River told Newsweek: "I was shocked to be honest. I was like 'is that really necessary? was it really that bad?' I think it could have been a lot worse but, I knew that... it is all part of the show isn't it?"
Choriza shared that she thought RuPaul was saving them both at first.
She said: "It was very weird because normally when RuPaul says your name first that means your saved. So when she said my name first I was like 'Yes. I don't know how I did it but I did!' and then said River's [name] and I was like 'Yes! Yes! We are both staying' then I saw RuPaul's face which was kind of like the same as when she watched the adverts from the week before."
Both Queens admitted they preferred the fact they were eliminated together rather than walking off the main stage by themselves.
River said: "I can't imagine doing that on my own. Imagine how horrible that would have been and not have one of your best friends with you? It's obviously not great it was a double elimination but I feel sort of lucky that I had somebody next to me who was going through the exact same thing."
River added: "It was very comforting to have a friend with me. It was very conflicted feelings because I didn't want to go home, I didn't want one of my best friends to go home and I didn't want the two of us to go home at the same time together but it was just so nice to have her there."

River and Choriza were not the only ones shocked at the double elimination. RuPaul's Drag Race UK fans have also been calling into question RuPaul's decision, with many agreeing they both did not necessarily deserve to leave.
One fan tweeted "THAT ENDING WAS BRUTAL AND UNDERSERVED #dragraceuk" while another penned: "NOT the two fan favorites being eliminated #DragRaceUK."

When asked who they think will win the competition this year, both Choriza and River joked RuPaul was the one to watch.
Choriza joked: "I think with how things are going, by the final everybody is going to be eliminated. I think next week RuPaul is going to get rid of three of them."
River added: "Michelle Visage is going to be eliminated, she is going to have to put the camera on a timer because she is eliminated. All of the camera crew as well, there's going to a lip sync to a RuPaul song that RuPaul is going to win. I think RuPaul has a good shot at winning that lip sync."
All jokes aside, Choriza believes Kitty Scott-Claus could take the crown, despite being the only Queen left in the competition without a badge.
"My choice right now it Kitty," Choriza confessed. "I think Kitty has been very under-looked. Something I keep saying is if you realize the perception of the Queens in the workroom is very different. Every time we had to pick teams, Kitty has been the first to be picked and that says something. I think she has what it takes."
With their Drag Race UK experience behind them, you can look forward to Choriza and River working on a top-secret project together in the near future, with details coming soon.

Choriza also has released her first ever single, "My P***y is Like A Peach," which is available to stream now. She will also be starring in a pantomime this Christmas and is working on her one-woman show which will be touring Spain and in the U.K. in 2022.
Meanwhile, River has plans to head to the stage with her own West End Show.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK is available to stream via WOW Presents Plus at 2 p.m. every Thursday in the U.S. and airs every Thursday at 7 p.m. on BBC Three via the BBC iPlayer in the U.K.
