Dynasty Season 3 has returned to The CW following another cast shake-up after Ana Brenda Contreras was recast as Cristal Jennings. The plot of Dynasty, however, will be business as usual according to the trailer, which teases another season of campy calamities for the Carringtons.
When is Dynasty Season 3 out?
The premiere of the season will air on The CW on Friday, October 11 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. Following the first episode, titled "Guilt Trip to Georgia," episodes will air on Fridays after Charmed.
On Netflix in all countries outside of the U.S., episodes will air on Saturdays from one minute past midnight. In America, meanwhile, all of Season 3 will be released on Netflix eight days after the season finale, expected in May 2020.
In all Netflix territories, however, the first two seasons of Dynasty are streaming now.
Who is in the cast of Dynasty Season 3?
Most of the remaining Carringtons will be back for more, including Fallon (played by Elizabeth Gillies), Blake (Grant Show) and the evil Adam Carrington (Sam Underwood). Outside of the main family, Sam Jones (Rafael de La Fuente), Michael Culhane (Robert Christopher Riley) and Carrington family butler Anders (Alan Dale) are also all back.
The Dynasty Season 3 main cast will also feature two new faces this year following actor departures. The first of these will be Daniella Alonso, taking over from former Cristal Jennings actress Ana Brenda Contreras, who has left the show for health reasons.
The new season will also have a new actress playing Alexis Carrington, following original actress Nicolette Sheridan's departure in February to spent more time with her terminally-ill mother. Second Alexis actress Elizabeth Gillies, who did double duty in Dynasty last season as Alexis and Fallon, is expected to be replaced as Alexis in the new season just in time for Alexis' legendary feud with Dominique Deveraux (Michael Michele) to reginite.

What will happen in Dynasty Season 3?
The official CW plot synopsis reads: "As Dynasty hurtles into its explosive third season, the Carrington family will face the unknown on all fronts. Dealing with the fallout from the startling second season finale, Fallon is surrounded by a host of rivals looking to destroy her, the most wicked of which is her own brother, Adam, who takes the idea of 'sibling rivalry' to a whole new level of crazy.
"At the same time, Fallon and Liam attempt to keep their romance sane, but secrets and skeletons from her closet will make that more difficult than ever. And after a year of "me" time, Blake (Grant Show) will jump back in the game, ruthlessly determined to reclaim what's rightfully his: the family company Fallon sold out from under him.. Only problem is that the newest Colby in town, Blake's half-sister Dominique (Michael Michele), is here to stay and she isn't backing down from a fight over what's rightfully hers, either.
"Meanwhile, Sammy Jo (Rafael De La Fuente) enters an exhilarating phase of the upper-class life, but amongst the thrills of his newfound freedom, there will be dangers lurking. Plus, who knows what faces – new and old, friendly and unfriendly - will pop up!

Is there a trailer for Dynasty Season 3?
A promo for the new season came out in September and showed the cast at a series of lavish parties in which Sam toasts to "new beginnings" and yet the Carringtons can't help but go through the same old drama as Adam schemes, Dominique pledges to take control of the company and Fallon tries to keep her empire afloat.
