Although the thirst for Elite Season 5 was temporarily quenched with the release of Elite Short Stories back in December 2021, fans of the hit Spanish teen drama will be over the moon to hear the wait for the latest season is almost over.

At the end of Season 4, Guzmán (played by Miguel Bernardeau), Samuel (Itzan Escamilla), and Rebe (Claudia Salas) found themselves (unsurprisingly) at the center of another murder and a big cover-up. For now, they are the only ones who are aware of the big secret, but just how long that will last... fans will find out in Season 5.

When is Elite Season 5 Out?

Elite Season 5 is coming to screens a lot sooner than you may think. The new series will premiere on Friday, April 8 on Netflix worldwide.

Season 5 will drop at 3 a.m. ET on Netflix in the U.S. and different times across the globe thanks to the time difference.

For example, fans of Elite in its home country of Spain will be able to watch all-new episodes from 9 a.m. CEST and in the U.K., audiences will be able to stream all episodes from 8 a.m. BST.

All eight episodes will drop in one go, meaning you will be able to binge the new series over the weekend.

What Will Happen In Elite Season 5?

Season 4 of Elite ended on several big cliffhangers, setting the show up for a gripping fifth season.

To start with, Guzmán shot Armando (Andrés Velencoso), Ari's (Carla Díaz) attacker, dead with a firework and dumped his body in the lake with the help of Samuel and Rebe.

With Armando's sudden disappearance, perhaps Season 5 will see Samuel, Rebe, and Guzmán try to avoid being caught.

Mencía (Martina Cariddi) also came clean to her father Benjamin (Diego Martin) about her sexual relations with her sister's attacker Armando at the very end of the series. Guzmán and Ander (Arón Piper) left Spain to go traveling, leaving the past behind for now.

Elsewhere, there were many romantic relationships up in the air.

For example, will Ari and Samuel give their relationship a shot, especially now Guzmán is out of the picture? If Ari's father Benjamin (Diego Martin) has anything to do with it, probably not.

Additionally, with Ander away, will he and Omar (Omar Ayuso) be able to rekindle their romance, or will Omar and Patrick (Manu Ríos) give things a shot? The last audiences saw of Patrick, was him lashing out in anger after Omar and Ander got back together.

There will be new faces joining the cast of Elite Season 5, including Soy Luna's Valentina Zenere and I Am More Me's André Lamoglia.

Zenere will take on the role of Isadora and Lamoglia will play Iván.

Àlex Monner will also star in the series as a new kid at Las Encinas, Felipe, who from Elite Short Stories 2, has a close friendship with Cayetana.

Is There a Trailer for Elite Season 5?

Yes, there is a trailer for Elite Season 5 and it is full of drama, to say the least.

The trailer begins with scenes of a wild party at a nightclub and as the momentum builds, a fast montage appears of someone being handcuffed, police arriving at the lake where Armando's body was dumped and Ari and Samuel making out.

In the same montage, Omar is revealed to be back from his travels and it appears Mencía and Rebe are going through a rough patch.

Audiences are also introduced to Zenere as Isadora, who appears to be some kind of famous DJ, and there is a new boy on the scene who Patrick takes a particular liking to in the famous Las Encinas showers. Omar and Ander are also seen fooling around in bed together.

Phillipe is also back on the scene and Cayetana (Georgina Amorós) is watching his every move so no more other women get hurt.

As the trailer comes to an end, it appears Ari's father has a great interest in Samuel, despite his previous threats to say away from his daughter.

In the final clip, Patrick appears in the forest covered in blood with no clue given as to why.

Luckily, fans do not have too long to wait for Season 5 to drop.
