Eminem wants to date Nicki Minaj.

The Michigan-made rapper professed his love for the Queens native during his Boston concert on Sunday and asked concertgoers if they wanted to see him and his "bae" to seriously date. Despite some boos from a few fans, much of the crowd roared in favor of Eminem, otherwise known as Slim Shady, sealing the deal with Minaj. "Well goddamnit me too," Eminem said.

The 45-year-old added: "Nicki if you get this message, just text me later. We'll talk about it."

Not long after a fan uploaded video footage of Eminem's proposal, Minaj responded on Twitter, seemingly amused by the fact that Eminem was playing along with the dating joke she started nearly a week ago. "LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The fact that he's silly & a goof just like me," Minaj wrote. "Love him so much."

Minaj suggested the perfect location for their first date—the studio. "Em we need you on the #Queen album. That's where our 1st date will be; at the studio, while I gaze into ur [sic] beautiful eyes as u write ur [sic] verse," she continued.

Although the rappers are likely trolling fans, whispers of their romance first surfaced after Minaj name-dropped Eminem in her verse on YG's latest release, "Big Bank." On the track, released Friday, Minaj raps: "Told em I met Slim Shady, bagged a Em/Once he go black, he'll be back again."

Minaj posted an Instagram video on Friday featuring a clip of the song and used her cryptic verse as the post's caption, which prompted a fan to ask the 35-year-old rapper if she was dating Eminem. Minaj responded to the question with a simple one-word response: "Yes."

Eminem played along, and slid into Minaj's comments by writing, "Girl you know it's true."

Although they've never been romantically tied—until now, per say—Minaj and Eminem have a longstanding friendship. Eminem was one of the few rappers featured on Minaj's debut studio album, Pink Friday, back in 2010.
