The father of Jenae Gagnier, the Instagram model that was murdered in her Texas apartment, recently said he found ramblings written over her apartment's walls.

While speaking with KTRK-TV in Houston, Mark Gagnier, explained that when he entered his daughter's apartment, he discovered his daughter's murderer as well as writings on her walls.

KTRK-TV reported the writings on Gagnier's walls were done with lipstick or pens and included apologies and confessions. The murderer, who was identified as 34-year-old Kevin Accorto, also professed his love for Gagnier in the messages, KTRK-TV reported.

"I could look in the room and there's writings all over the wall," Gagnier's father told KTRK-TV.

The Richmond Police Department said in a statement sent to Newsweek that officers were called to Gagnier's apartment on Sunday for a welfare check. When police arrived at the apartment they found Gagnier, who is also known as "Miss Mercedes Morr" to her 2.6 million Instagram followers, and another individual dead. Police said the second body found was believed to be the suspect.

"At this point in the investigation, it is NOT believed that there was a relationship between the suspect and the victim," the Richmond Police Department said in the statement. "At this point, this is being considered a murder/suicide and it is an ongoing investigation to determine motive in the case."

While police believe that Gagnier and Accorto did not know each other, Gagnier's family believes that he was one of her Instagram followers that became crazed and found out where she lived.

"My monthly conversation is, Jenae you have all these followers. Some probably because they love you, some because they like your look, some more crazy, and some obsessed," Gagnier's father told KTRK-TV. "I don't know how he found her and I don't know how all this happened."

Gagnier's father also told the local news station that the amount of Instagram followers his daughter had scared him.

"My daughter was beautiful. That scared the hell out of me. And she kept trying to get more and more beautiful, she worked on it hard. That scared the hell out of me," he told KTRK-TV.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Gagnier's sister, London, wrote that "yesterday was the worst day of my life .. my heart is gone . My soul is gone."

"Me & mom talked to you on Thursday to check on you & per usual, you were having an amazing time . We talk every day. I'm so happy we said we loved you . I'm so happy I got to see your face one last time," the Instagram caption said.
