A former McDonald's employee is accused of threatening to blow up the restaurant if he didn't get paid.

Azeem Burton, 22, was arrested Friday after police said he entered the restaurant in Old Lycoming Township, Pennsylvania, "highly agitated" and "demanded that the store give him his money."

Although Burton was reportedly told he would receive a check in the mail, police wrote in a news release provided to Newsweek that Burton "continued to yell 'get my f***ing money or I'll come behind the counter.'"

He then allegedly started to walk around the counter before he was stopped by employees and customers.

After being told to leave multiple times, which he refused to do, Burton allegedly said, "'If I don't get my money I'll blow the place up'. Burton then began to engage customers telling them to 'step outside,'" the news release added.

Eventually before leaving, he said, "If ya'll don't have my money when I get back, it won't be pretty," according to police. Police said they began a search of the area and that Burton "was located with the help of McDonald's staff and customers."

Police said Burton was arrested on charges of terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, trespass and harassment.

In a separate incident in Iowa in June, a man was accused of threatening to blow up a McDonald's because he was upset he didn't receive dipping sauce for his chicken nuggets.

Robert Golwitzer Jr. allegedly called and threatened the restaurant, making threats to blow up the restaurant and punch an employee after realizing his order was incorrect. Police said the man admitted to making the statements, and that he was charged with false report of explosive or incendiary device.

Also in June of last year, a woman in Ohio was arrested after being accused of assaulting two McDonald's employees when she was told she couldn't make her own slushie.

The woman allegedly walked behind the counter after she asked employees if they could combine slushie flavors. When the manager told her they couldn't, the woman tried to go behind the counter to make her own. Eventually, the woman allegedly punched a manager in the side of the head. She was arrested and charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault.
