Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa is starting a new "happily ever after" with a reality TV star you've probably seen before. El Moussa announced his engagement to Heather Rae Young on Saturday, and it brings two real-estate-based series together.
Young is one of the stars of Selling Sunset, Netflix's original series that follows a real estate group in Los Angeles and the insane competition and drama that's inherent in the job.
Apparently, El Moussa asked for Young's hand in marriage while they were away on a trip to Catalina Island in California, celebrating their one-year anniversary, People reported Sunday. It was a beach engagement, which El Moussa had prepared with candles and an arrangement involving several of Young's favorite flowers.
So who is Young? And how did the pair meet?

El Moussa and Young were introduced by friends around the Fourth of July last year, People reported. They went public with their relationship on Instagram shortly afterward, in early August 2019. By then, El Moussa had already introduced Young to his children—he has a daughter and a son from his previous marriage to Christina Anstead.
But Young made a huge name for herself before becoming the self-described "bonus mom" to El Moussa's children.
Young has a whopping 893,000 Instagram followers who follow her lifestyle and travels. The online success came after Young's role on the Netflix series, which now has two seasons streaming and a third set to be released on August 7.
But she began her career years before the Selling Sunset, as a Playboy playmate.
Now 32, Young first modeled for Playboy in 2010 when she was named Miss February. "It was an amazing experience," she recounted to People in May. "I would never take it back. I believe everything happens for a reason. I really, truly do. If I hadn't posed for Playboy, I wouldn't have met the people who led me to where I am now."
As for El Moussa, he was married to Anstead (formerly Christina El Moussa) from 2009 to 2018. During that time, they built the HGTV show Flip or Flop, which they continued to work on together even after their public divorce.
El Moussa now has his own show: Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa. Anstead has her own series, too, called Christina on the Coast. Despite their individual shows, the two still work together on Flip or Flop, now as a divorced couple.
Anstead was remarried to British TV actor Ant Anstead in 2018. The pair welcomed their first child together in 2019.
