Factory-backed accessory personalization takes center stage on the new 2021 Ford Bronco Riptide concept vehicle. The model is designed to support the spontaneous adventures that are possible with the beach-to-mountains lifestyle of the West Coast.

The concept SUV is built on the Bronco four-door with the Sasquatch Package. It wears a Velocity Blue paint job that takes inspiration from the colors of the ocean. Its interior is outfitted with marine-grade vinyl-trimmed seats in Black Onyx and Dark Space Gray. On the floor is rubberized washout flooring.

The rig rides on 35-inch mud-terrain tires that are mounted to 17-inch factory wheels with Ford Performance deadlock rings. Dana AdvanTek electronic-locking front and rear axles, a high-clearance suspension system with Bilstein position-sensitive long-travel shock absorbers pair with Bronco's G.O.A.T. Modes, which allow a driver select the right terrain settings for maximum drivability.

Ford has equipped the model with a number of accessories that can be added at a dealership when buyers take delivery of their vehicle including a Bestop mesh Bimini top, a Yakima bike rack with Santa Cruz mountain bikes, and a Rigid LED lightbar and mirror-mounted off-road lights. The car's prototype front steel bumper gives the Bronco a unique face.

Atop of the SUV are two Almond surfboards that sit on two prototype crossbars that were created by the Bronco design team. They're bolted to sport bars and allow owners to continue to have access to a soft top while being able to haul.

The SUV gets going thanks to its 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torquer drivers to use.

This concept vehicle is not on sale, but buyers who are receiving delivery of their Bronco can equip their model similarly. Deliveries of the 2021 Bronco are ongoing.
