One of the most popular new additions for Fortnite season 8 is the customizable Toona Fish avatar, which can be painted a variety of different colors. This guide will show you how to get the "Cuddly Pink" look for the character over in the Steamy Stacks region of the map.
How to Unlock the Toona Fish Colors
Resembling a monochrome animated character, Toona Fish is comparable to season 7's Kymera skin.
Just like with that alien outfit, players will only have access to a plain Toona Fish at first. However, they will have the opportunity to gradually unlock more vibrant styles for the avatar by hunting down certain items in the game world.
In the case of the Kymera, you needed to be on the lookout for "Alien Artifacts." For Toona Fish, you will be searching for paint bottles and rainbow ink instead.
The bottles are used to reveal new color options in the "Paint a Toona Fish" menu, while the ink is a form of currency that you must spend in order to purchase these hues. For instance, if you want a "Leafy Green" Toona Fish then you will need to find all the bottles of green paint, as well as enough rainbow ink to then apply the new pigment.
Rainbow ink can be easily found in the loot chests that are scattered all over Fortnite Island, but the paint bottles are only in predetermined locations.
'Fortnite' Cuddly Pink Paint Bottle Locations
To unlock each color for your Toona Fish you will need to find three corresponding bottles, which are usually in close proximity to one another.
In the case of Cuddly Pink, you will need to head over to the Steamy Stacks region in the northeast corner of the map. For those who are unaware, this point of interest is an expansive nuclear power plant with multiple buildings. As such, it can be quite difficult to get your bearings around here as there are so many levels and rooms to explore.
Paint Bottle Location 1
The first Cuddly Pink bottle can be found outside the main building, atop a metal staircase. On your minimap, it is just below the first "S" in the word "Stacks."
Paint Bottle Location 2
The next Cuddly Pink bottle is in the southernmost cooling tower, on a walkway surrounding by purple cube energy. It is just below the "T" in the word "Stacks."
Paint Bottle Location 3
The final Cuddly Pink bottle is in the same cooling tower but, for this one, you will have to head to the top of a viewing station that overlooks the vat of purple liquid. It is just under the "T" in the word "Stacks."
Once you have found all three bottles, you will be able to apply the "Cuddle Team Leader" paint job to your Toona Fish for the cost of 10 rainbow Ink.
