Gigi Hadid has shut down claims that she disapproves of Taylor Swift's romance with NFL star Travis Kelce.
Kelce has been linked to the pop superstar since September, and the couple appeared to go public with an evening out in New York City in October. Perez's article quoted the November 9 article from Us Weekly that said Hadid thought Swift was "doing too much" with the Chiefs tight end.
"One of the reasons Gigi hasn't attended any of Travis' games is because she doesn't agree with the way Taylor has been acting with [him]," an alleged insider told the publication. "She feels like Taylor is doing too much, too soon."
Hadid's reference to Gomez in her Instagram comment is in relation to Page Six reporting that she was worried her friend was "moving too fast" with the Kansas City Chiefs player.
A source told the publication: "Selena thinks Taylor going to games and gallivanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her. Historically, Taylor's always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she's so open about it that it's just very odd for Selena."
The insider added: "Selena just doesn't want to be part of the media frenzy because it's really chaotic." Newsweek reached out to a Gomez representative for comment via email Tuesday.
