'God of War Ragnarök': How to Farm Hacksilver

Hacksilver is one of the primary currencies you'll make use of in God of War Ragnarök. As a result, you'll need plenty of it to upgrade your gear, craft new armor, and more.

While there is plenty of Hacksilver to be found in the middle of the game, players in the early- and late-game hours may find themselves struggling. Luckily, there is a way to increase the amount of Hacksilver you're earning so that you never run low.

While there aren't really any big enemies you can farm for Hacksilver, there are a couple of ways you can find it while exploring the world.

The first way to find more Hacksilver is to simply crush everything you see. Any crates, bottles, vases, and pretty much anything that you can hack your way through has a chance to drop Hacksilver for you to collect.

You should especially look out for boxes marked with a blue marking. These crates and boxes will often yield some very valuable items. You'll also find plenty of Hacksilver in buckets hanging down from the tops of areas, so make sure to look around thoroughly—not just on the ground.

You'll also find that completing various activities out in the world, including the various challenges and Favors that you come across, is another great way to stock up on Hacksilver. You'll earn different amounts for completing these events, but each one will often reward you with a hefty chunk that will make upgrading and crafting new gear easier in the long run.

Another great way to stock up on Hacksilver is to collect and sell off artifacts that you find along the way. Artifacts are essentially collectible type items that you can find throughout the nine realms. Once you've collected all the artifacts in a set, you can sell them off to Brok or Sindri for a good chunk of Hacksilver.
