It's impossible not to smile when watching the adorable video of Junie, the golden retriever, and her feathery friends.
Owner Lorrie Brown, 53, has shared a montage of videos from separate occasions of her 4-year-old dog chilling with tiny ducks perched on her head. Brown told Newsweek: "Junie is a gentle dog, so the ducks just naturally took to her and they love her soft fur and feel protected on her in the water.
"She swims in the water with them on her back, and they try to hang on, and if they fall off they go right back to her and climb back on," Brown added.

The adorable Instagram video shared on October 29 to @brownhikingtrails gets even better as Junie the dog has been filmed floating around a swimming pool with four ducks and a rooster on her back.
The clip captioned, "Junie loves her lil wigs," has melted thousands of hearts since it was posted.
Brown, who lives in Branston, Missouri, said: "Ever since the ducks and rooster were babies, they have been nesting in Junie's fur, and she is so gentle with them that she became a mamma to them.
"Even in the pool, which is Junie's favorite place to be, the ducks and rooster still want to sit on mamma Junie," Brown added.
This unlikely friendship probably won't surprise other golden-retriever owners as the breed is well known for being sociable and great with other animals.
Previously, Newsweek shared the adorable bond between a golden retriever and a squirrel and another pair of the same breed were caught on camera listening to the birds sing.
It looks like retrievers are always keen to make another furry friend. Newsweek has also shared a number of videos showcasing the relationship between the dogs and kittens.
Junie's relationship with the ducks has impressed the internet, and many people are singing her praises. One user wrote: "Such a sweet and lovely girl! June is a great mama ducky."
"Funny how ducks are supposed to love water but they'd rather be resting on Junie's head," posted another.
Another comment read: "I just can't get enough of Junie the kindest most tolerant mother hen!!"
It isn't just golden retrievers who are keen to befriend birds, too; a goldendoodle and magpie have recently delighted millions of TikTok users. The lovable duo have become an internet sensation after a video of them playing tug of war went viral.
