Hearts Melt As Dog Brings Pillow To Get Cozy With Owner: 'I Love Him'

The heartwarming moment a dog brought a pillow to get cozy with his owner has delighted the internet.

A video posted on TikTok by user @kayceerayne showed the moment a blue-nosed pit bull added an adorable step to his nighttime routine. "I love him," the poster wrote in the video caption.

Living in Scottsdale, Arizona, the dog picked up his own pillow and brought it up to bed where his owner was getting ready for bed. Promptly putting his head on the pillow, the moment has been viewed 2.7 million times.

"So I'm sitting here doing my night routine and I just turn around and my dog brought a pillow from the living room so he can get cozy. Wow," said Kaycee in the video.

The adorable four-legged family member demonstrated just how comfortable he could get, using a fluffy pillow to create his own lounging space.

Dogs are animals of comfort, and love nothing more than feeling safe and secure. There are a few reasons that your pup might like resting on a pillow.

Soft, squishy and cozy, pillows provide a comfortable space for your pet to rest. But the added bonus is that they are likely to smell like you. With a keen sense of smell, they love to be surrounded by the familiar scent of their human companion.

Another reason your dog may be interested in a pillow is to mimic their owner's behavior. Taking cues from pack leaders is common in dogs, and when they see you use a pillow, they may decide they want to sleep in the same spot.

Last year, another dog pretending to sleep on her owner's pillow melted hearts on TIkTok.

Quickly becoming a viral moment, viewers on TikTok shared their reactions to the dog's adorable behavior.

User imjustbrittney_ commented: "We don't deserve these precious souls. I love it," echoing the sentiments of many who were charmed by the video. User klyflo humorously quipped: "His self-care night routine," highlighting the dog's dedication to his owner's well-being.

Mazzy expressed the obvious affection, stating: "Awww he loves you," while Celia pointed out: "He's spending quality time with you."

The video even sparked envy in some. TikToker Wholesomebaddie said: "I need someone to love me this much."

While fellow pet owner Lori G205 wrote: "My pit always sleeps with his head on a pillow. Even on the bed," and Diana Balladares said: "My pity does the same. I love him," proving that the behavior isn't exclusive to Kaycee and her pit.
