'Hogwarts Legacy' Pre-Order Bonuses: All Game Version Bonuses Revealed

Hogwarts Legacy preorder bonuses have been revealed alongside a new trailer showing off a member of the Slytherin house. During the Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation, host Geoff Keighley showed off the new game footage, which introduced fellow Hogwarts student Sebastian Sallow as he faces a difficult choice: embrace or reject the Dark Arts?

Hogwarts Legacy is set around 100 years before Harry Potter enters the picture. As such, players take on the role of a wizard or witch of their creation studying in their fifth year at the school. They'll make friends around the academy, battle against enemies, and learn advanced magic spells to cast when needed. And while the game is based on the Harry Potter universe, creator J.K. Rowling is not involved in the game's development in any way.

The game was originally set to launch around Holiday 2022. However, developer Avalanche Software and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment saw fit to push Hogwarts Legacy back to February 10, 2023, as it needed additional time to "deliver the best possible game experience". This is the second delay the game has faced. Now, it'll be out next year across all platforms except for mobile devices. Its Nintendo Switch debut is not yet dated.
