How long is God of War Ragnarök?
God of War Ragnarök is a lengthy game. For our playthrough to complete a review, we played about 34 hours to reach the conclusion, including an epilogue before the final credits ended up rolling. However, that's just a suggested playtime. That was time spent on one save going as quickly as possible to get to the end of the game due to time constraints. However, that number opened up considerably once we went back and started finding all of the items and secrets left untouched.
With this in mind, it seems that around 30 hours is the sweet spot for those who just want to get through the story, but it could very well be shorter for anyone who plays on the easiest difficulty or makes a beeline straight to the end without looking at a single side quest, something we definitely made some time for here and there.
And if you're looking at a completionist run? Expect to play upward of 60 hours if you're going to see and do everything. Unless you're using a guide to find every single item, you still have to end up fighting off enemies, and that can take the longest. It's safe to say God of War Ragnarök is a game you'll be sinking your teeth into for some time.
