Resident Evil fans have a presentation all their own to look forward to this week. The upcoming Resident Evil Showcase, officially announced by Capcom, is set to debut this week, just one day after the Silent Hill Transmission livestream on Wednesday, October 19.
The Resident Evil Showcase is set to contain information about the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake as well as the previously-announced Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, according to a tweet by Capcom, though we can't rule out any additional surprises that could potentially be on their way.
On the subject of Resident Evil 4, we could finally hear about a potential release date, or, at the very least, additional unreleased details that focus on what we can expect from the new version of one of the Resident Evil series' most beloved games. In terms of Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, we'll probably hear additional details about RE:Verse, the reworked multiplayer shooter that was initially meant to launch alongside Village.
Whatever the case may be, there will be plenty of Resident Evil news to soak up. If you're planning on catching all the updates live, we've got all you need to know about how to watch the Resident Evil Showcase.

How to Watch Resident Evil Showcase Livestream
To watch the Resident Evil Showcase, tune in to the official Resident Evil Twitch channel at 6 PM ET on Thursday, October 20. All you need to do is navigate there with your favorite device, be it your computer, phone, or console, and lock it on the channel.
Capcom has stated that everyone will be welcome to co-stream the event, so you may even be able to watch by way of your favorite streamer if you want commentary along the way. You can also tune in to the official Capcom YouTube channel instead if you prefer, with VODs available to view after the official event if you can't watch live.
There's no information just yet on how long the stream will be, but these types of events typically run from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how much content is available about each game that's being highlighted. We'll be sure to keep you abreast of any new developments in the Resident Evil realm, so make sure to check back for the updates showcased during the stream.
In the meantime, we'll be bringing you a full review of the Resident Evil Village DLC in the near future. October's a great time to be a Resident Evil fan.
