A pair of huskies watching cartoons on the sofa with their owner have left the internet in stitches after a video of them caught in the act went viral.
On Monday, that.carl.tok, the dogs' TikTok page, shared a video of the pets, Carl and Tod, looking very interested in watching tv while sitting right up on the sofa.
The video has attracted over 185,000 likes on the platform at time of writing, and some users said the two huskies are "engaged like children."

But can dogs actually see what's on TV? The answer is yes! Your dog cannot only see what's on TV, but it can also tell if there is another dog in the program that you're watching!
Research shows that dogs are able to visually recognize other dogs. According to a study published in Animal Cognition in 2013, nine dogs were able to distinguish other dogs, regardless of breed, among pictures of other species by using visual cues alone.
However, dogs don't see what's on TV the way we do. Dogs also have dichromatic vision, which means they only see a range of two primary colors, yellow and blue.
National Geographic explains that the way your dog reacts to TV, whether it's running around, barking excitedly, or just ignoring it, comes down to the dog's own personality or breed.

Michael Vardinghus pointed out: "They are so focused" And 1BlueOwl said: "They laugh when we say dogs are like our children. And yet...."
Another user, Skineuro, wrote: "They're so engaged like children!" And tyler58651 joked: "No, that's too much. Sorry boss, I'm sick today. Caught the watching cartoons bug with my dogs."
Other users, shared their own dog's reactions to tv. Netero asked: "where do you find this kind of animal watching TV? My dog the only thing he wants [...] eat and sleep."
And Nethaniah added: "My dog just barks & loses her mind at any speaking animals or cartoons. Lol"
