A cat who cuddles in some seriously quirky positions has left everyone in stitches.
Fado, a 4-year-old moggie cat who lives in Finland, has a rather unusual way of getting attention for cuddle-time.
He was rescued when found as part of a litter of six kittens abandoned in the cold Finnish fall. Since then, he has brought joy to his owners and the internet where he often appears on Instagram account @moggie_mau.
Elmo Syrjäläinen from Helsinki, Finland, the proud owner of Fado, told Newsweek he has always been prone to hanging out in unusual positions.
"Fado has always been a character cat and cuddler," he told Newsweek. "His favorite position is to plop in your armpit and sleep on his back like a human would."

After capturing one of Fado's unusual positions on camera—upside down and curled up into almost a ball—Syrjäläinen decided to share it on Reddit's r/aww subreddit where it has had more than 4,000 upvotes.
Fado's pastimes include fetching balls and mice toys, as well as his penchant for interrupting important work by claiming laps for impromptu cuddle sessions.
Meanwhile, Amira, Fado's feisty feline companion of "prestigious" Egyptian Mau descent, contributes her share of morning wake-up calls and collaborative mischief.
Fado is a rescue, and Syrjäläinen and his partner are big advocates for animal rescue: "If you can get a rescue kitty, get two. They'll love the company, and you'll get great companions and memories for a lifetime," Syrjäläinen said.
On Reddit, people were equally impressed by Fado's hilarious cuddle position.
"What a cute weirdo," said Ari_Azul. While Working_Pollution272 joked that he was a "Circus de Soleil cat."
"He's working on his yoga poses," said dalpacpl. While citrustaxonymy joked: "Not a thought behind those eyes. I love him."
Redditor 911NShifter even called him the "yoga master."

Fado isn't the only cat to be spreading some joy online either—like Bengal cat Tamarindo who left people in stitches after a video of him trying out a new way to run faster went viral on social media.
In October, a cat appearing to remind his owner that it was time for cuddles left people in tears.
